| This is a vintage 1980’s designer dress by Azzedine Alaia. It has a most iconic Alaia design with draped backless bodice that turns up into a hood. The fabric is light slinky viscose jersey in reddish chocolate brown. The dress has a fitted high waistband, snaps at the back, and the fitted skirt has the beautiful complex seaming typical of Alaia. There is no size tag but it is an overall size small. Will fit an exact maximum 27 inches raised high waist, and the hips will fit 37/38 inches. The bust is free but would proportionately fall somewhere around 35/36 inches or so. Alaia garments are designed to fit skin tight and I would guess this to be roughly around a US 6-ish but please follow the inches given. |
