| This is a vintage 1960’s velvet evening coat. The color is a true deep red and is nicer than the photos show. The coat is in excellent condition as if hardly worn and is soft rayon velvet lined with satin fabric. It is a loose fitting straight cut design with collar, covered buttons down the front, ¾ length sleeves with upturned cuffs, and side hip pockets. The garment is an overall size L. The actual exact garment bust is 48 inches but due to the cut is designed to be worn by about 38/40 inches bust person. The hips are recommended for 40-44 inches. Shoulder to shoulder is about 16 inches and sleeves are 20 inches when cuffs are turned down. About a modern 12-ish but please go by inches given instead. |
