This is a vintage 1950’s black silk satin hourglass dress. It is in excellent vintage condition, which is difficult to find with this type of fabric. The dress has ¾ length sleeves, and gathers towards the decorative center waist buckle. It has a metal back zipper, and will fit 36 inches at bust, 27 inches waist, and the actual exact garment hips are 41 inches but are recommended for 38 inches or up to maximum 40 inches if necessary. Shoulder to shoulder is 16 inches and sleeves are 17 inches.
