This is a hard to find vintage Hector Aguilar tie bar or money clip. It can also be worn as a jacket or dress clip facing down. Aguilar worked for William Spratling and left in 1939 to open his own shop Taller Borda. The peice is marked 990 which is higher silver content than sterling silver and the mark on the back dates between 1940-1945. It measures 2.5 inches at longest.
